The exchange-holder withdrawal window and the Base TMAI lock window for the TMAI exchange-rescue migration path are closed. Eligible exchange-rescue users can now claim Solana TMAI through the official TMAI migration portal.
Fast read
- Exchange withdrawal window: Closed.
- Base TMAI lock window: Closed.
- Exchange-rescue claim: Live for eligible users.
- Where to claim: https://tokenmetrics.com/migration/
- Main self-custody migration: Unchanged and still available for eligible Base wallets in the main Merkle claim.
The same migration portal now supports two separate paths: the normal self-custody claim for eligible Base wallets, and the exchange-rescue claim for users who completed the exchange withdrawal and Foundation lock process before the deadlines.
Who should use this path
Use the exchange-rescue claim only if your Base wallet received TMAI directly from a supported exchange wallet and you locked the matching Base TMAI to the Foundation Safe before the lock deadline.
- If your Base wallet is eligible in the main self-custody claim, use the normal claim flow.
- If you completed the exchange-rescue steps before the deadlines, use the exchange-rescue checker on the same page.
- If your TMAI never left your exchange account before the cutoff, the portal cannot verify that balance on-chain.
How to claim
- Open the official migration portal: https://tokenmetrics.com/migration/.
- Use the exchange-rescue checker with the Base wallet that received TMAI from Gate.io, Bitpanda, or MEXC and locked the matching Base TMAI to the Foundation Safe.
- If the wallet is eligible, connect the Solana wallet that should receive Solana TMAI.
- Sign the required wallet messages and approve the Solana claim transaction.
- Keep the Solana transaction signature for your records.
You do not need to email us a Solana wallet address. The portal lets the eligible Base wallet claim to the Solana wallet you connect during the claim flow.
What not to do
- Do not send more Base TMAI to the Foundation Safe. The exchange-rescue intake window is closed.
- Do not use the exchange-rescue path if your Base wallet is eligible in the main self-custody claim. Use the normal claim flow instead.
- Do not send screenshots, seed phrases, private keys, or exchange login details.
- Do not trust links from direct messages. Start from tokenmetrics.com/migration.
Main migration deadline
The main self-custody migration claim and the exchange sidecar claim share the same final claim deadline: Monday, August 3, 2026 at 10:00 AM Austin time (15:00 UTC). Eligible holders should claim before that deadline.

Cases we still cannot solve automatically
Holders whose TMAI is still trapped inside an exchange account and who could not withdraw before the cutoff do not have on-chain proof we can verify. Without exchange cooperation, such as a liability snapshot or a withdrawal reopen, there is no path to automate that case. If this is your situation, contact support@tokenmetrics.com with the exchange name, the affected exchange account identifier, and any exchange support correspondence. We will continue to escalate where we can, but cannot promise a recovery without exchange-side help.
