The exchange holder migration path is now open for TMAI holders who had tokens on Gate.io, Bitpanda, or MEXC. This path is separate from the normal self-custody claim. It is for people who held TMAI on a supported exchange and can withdraw Base TMAI to a wallet they control.

Important: do not use this path if your Base wallet was already eligible in the main migration.

The normal claim and the exchange holder path are checked separately. This path is for exchange withdrawals only. It includes extra checks to prevent duplicate claims.

Fast read

  • Use this path only if your TMAI came from a supported exchange hot wallet: Gate.io, Bitpanda, or MEXC.
  • Withdraw exchange-held Base TMAI to a wallet you control by Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 11:59 PM Austin time.
  • After the checker confirms your withdrawal, lock the exact required Base TMAI amount by Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 11:59 PM Austin time.
  • The Foundation Safe lock address is 0x389BEc57cba87Ea465736641572e26755aF53A79.
  • MEXC withdrawals may require extra review because MEXC was added after the main claim list was locked.

Who this is for

This is for holders who had TMAI on a supported exchange and can move that TMAI out to a Base wallet they control. The checker looks for on-chain withdrawals from known exchange wallets. It cannot read your private exchange account balance.

If your TMAI was already in your own Base wallet at the snapshot, use the normal migration claim. If your TMAI is still on an exchange, withdraw it to a Base wallet you control before the cutoff if the exchange allows withdrawals.

How to use the exchange holder path

  1. Withdraw Base TMAI from Gate.io, Bitpanda, or MEXC to a Base wallet you control.
  2. Open the exchange holder checker and enter that Base wallet address.
  3. If the checker finds a valid exchange withdrawal, it will show the required lock amount.
  4. Send exactly that Base TMAI amount to the TM Foundation Base Gnosis Safe shown in the checker.
  5. Check the portal again after the transaction confirms. The status should move into payout review.
  6. Do not send repeated locks for the same wallet unless the portal tells you to.

Exchange holders use a separate lock-and-review path after withdrawing Base TMAI from a supported exchange wallet.

Gas reminder: you need a small amount of ETH on Base to move or lock Base TMAI.

What not to do

  • Do not use this path for a wallet that already completed the normal migration claim.
  • Do not send TMAI to the Foundation Safe before the checker shows a required lock amount.
  • Do not send screenshots, seed phrases, private keys, or exchange login details.
  • Do not assume an exchange account balance is enough. This path needs an on-chain withdrawal that the checker can verify.
